Chilliwack Minor Baseball Association Names First-Ever Director of High Performance and Player Development

Chilliwack Minor Baseball Association is proud to announce the appointment of Jude Hall as CMBA’s first-ever Director of High Performance and Player Development.

This historic appointment marks an exciting milestone in the continued growth of CMBA as we strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional development opportunities for athletes across all levels of our association.

A true homegrown product of Chilliwack baseball, Jude played his entire minor baseball career within CMBA, representing the association at numerous Provincial Championships throughout his youth. He continued his development through Baseball BC before advancing to the collegiate ranks in the United States.

Jude began his collegiate career at Yavapai College in Arizona, where he spent two seasons competing at the junior college level. During the summer months, he continued to develop his game in collegiate summer leagues with the Medford Rogues, Bend Elks, and Kamloops NorthPaws. He later advanced to the NCAA Division I level, spending two seasons at Southeastern Louisiana University before completing his final year of eligibility at Dallas Baptist University.

After a successful collegiate career, Jude and his wife, Julie, have returned to Chilliwack to establish roots in the community where he grew up. Julie will continue her athletic career this fall as a member of the soccer program at Trinity Western University. Together, they are excited to begin this new chapter and become active members of the CMBA community.

Following the posting of this newly created position through CMBA, Baseball BC, BC Minor Baseball, and various social media platforms, the association received several strong applications. To ensure a fair and transparent process, CMBA President Jeremy Hall and Board Member Loreal Hall recused themselves from all stages of the hiring process. A selection committee consisting of four board members and one independent, non-board member reviewed applications, conducted interviews, and unanimously selected Jude as the successful candidate.

His experience, leadership, and passion for development will be a tremendous asset to our association."

In his new role, Jude will report to a dedicated Oversight Committee led by CMBA Vice President Sean Dyck.

Jude's passion for player development, leadership, and community aligns perfectly with CMBA's vision of helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.
